Unique Beauty: CHRISHELL STUBBS

I am probably extremely late on this but I just noticed this unique beautiful model named Chrishell, now that I think about it I have seen one of her pictures before but it wasn't something that stuck to me like Chanel Iman or Sessilee Lopez but if you have been living under a rock like myself then you can be introduced to her now as well. LOL...
 A tid bit about Chrishell is that she is from Turks and Caicos she first made her debut as an 18 year old in 2007 appearing in Teen Vogue. In Fall 2010, she hit the big runway shows, modeling for Ralph Lauren, Vera Wang and Lacoste (just to name a few). If your like me, then you like to follow beautiful african american or of color models on their journey to the top! Here are some more pictures....

My sister and I adore little miss Janelle Monae... to her music, fashion, features everything about her is amazing! I seen this look and had to post it. We previously made a post showing a Janelle Monae inspired hair do' look..but this here is a latest emsemble Miss Monae was rocking at 20th Annual Glamour Women of the Year Awards...

Her makeup is very clean and flawless and I am loving the simple black liner eyes

with the Hot Pink Lips! I am thinking M.A.C's Girl About Town (below) would be

the perfect pink for this look...

Current Obession

Silk blouses! Silks are very retro yet classy chic. I, myself sort of stumbled across these blouses while thrift shopping one day. I had always overlooked this style until I spotted a beautiful leopard print blouse that was definitley calling my name. At the time, I did not know exactly how I was going to wear it but I knew I had to have it. Needing an outfit for a night out, I decided to throw the oversized leopard blouse on with a black skirt, I rolled up the sleeves and tucked it in...I instantly fell in love with the look and now have a profound appreciation for silk and blouses! Sneak Peak Men's Fashion Shoot!

So, last night I provided makeup for another dope photoshoot. It featured Men this time! yess, I wanted to showcase that men can look cool in makeup as well. The shoot featured my wonderful boyfriend Gillie, and his best friend Enrique. We decided on a "Modern Rat Pack" theme and the second look was a "creature of the night" dark yet masculine with the tuxedo jacket and vest. The shoot took about 4 hours and these are just some of the pictures I captured with my own camera, the professional ones are going to be sick! Check out the looks below....

Stripes Meet Leopard

This is a simple going out outfit I helped my sister Ricci create. She didn't think mixing stripes with leopard would mesh well but with my eagle eye, I knew it would be a hit! I don't know if some of you are like myself but I am a huge visual person. I can create looks in my mind that I know will work. For example, I love to redecorate my room I hate to have it look the same for too long but I like to stand in a corner and visually move furniture around to different places and from there, I go to work putting each piece in its place just as I envisioned. Its great, I love it! That's why I would really like to take up photography, my mind is constantly thinking creative thoughts and taking pictures of these thoughts would be amazing! Sneak Peak MUA In Action

So other than my undying love of fashion...I also have a great love for makeup actually anything creative  I am automatically attracted to it and I want to be a part of it in some kind of way. Welll I have a sneak peak of behind the scenes photoshoot with my friend Akwanique. It was sooo much fun and the photos are going to be amazing. I took a couple snap shots with my own camera but the professional ones are coming soon!  I am definitley on my way to building my portfolio many upcoming projects coming!
