Real Beauties with Real Beautiful Hair

I appreciate all things natural.

The Grass Is Greener On The Other Side

Lazy day at school, this outfit was very easy to throw together since I wore an oversized floral tank I wanted my skirt to be fitted and blazer to be neutral. Pearl earrings, a few bangles and wedges that are undeniably comfortable.

Makings of a Model

We had some free time so me being the inspired photographer that I am,
we decided to have an impromptu photoshoot.

My sister has a very natural talent to not care and just let herself flow whether with people she knows or strangers. Her dream is to someday be a plus size fashion model. What I admire most about her is that she is very serious and professional. What do you think? Do you think she might have what it takes?

Work Chic

After the Janelle Monae Do'...we came up with a simple yet classy look for work. She works at Lane Byant (a clothing boutique for plus size) so she's constantly on her feet. We paired a casual black slouchy top with Jeggings and some cute pointy colored flats. Added pearls clip ons and a pearl necklace and she was ready to go! Btw, the jeggings were found at NY & Co. once again on sale for around 7.99, jeggings are great for comfort and they remain fitted throughout long days.

*Tip
Keeping it simple black top and jeans is very easy to do, polish the look by adding color to the shoe or bag or jewelery. For cute flats and heels in sizes 10 & up Payless is a great store to help you find them.

Janelle Monae Inspired

I really love Janelle Monae... her hairstyle is so funky yet cool. Literally it is cool, having a huge head of thick curly hair can be overwhelming hot especially under the hot Cali sun, or here in humid Miami. I helped my sister with this inspired look and it was a success! Having the hair off your neck and face really helps you stay cool and it looks chic aswell.

*Tip
To achieve this the fast way leave a section of your hair in the front out (enough to make a decent pouf) then the rest of the hair in the back tie into a high ponytail bun. With the hair left in the front, form your desired pouf and combine that with the hair left from the ponytail and bobby pin your hair into the bun. Then you are done!

Blazers

This is a an outfit I had envisioned in my mind prior to wearing it. I had been on the hunt for a vintage Floral or Multi-Colored blazer. I really feel like Blazers accentuate "bustier" women and depending where they fall they will hug your waist just right. I found this blazer for $6 but it was marked down 50% at the time. The dress is another fave! It cuts low on top and the fabric is ruched. Paired with royal blue pumps, vintage earrings, and a Chanel makeup bag worn as a clutch.

*Tip
If you have certain "curves" you would like to show or hide...Buy dresses that are Ruched..they have stretch to them and you can maneuver the dress to your liking.

Fashion for less!

This look here was made so simple by Ricci. She found this Coral Peach dress on sale at New York & Company. It was only 4.99...she paired it with a thirfted cheetah print belt and caged heels. I would like to reccommend New York & Company as a really great store.
They carry sizes XS-XL, they always have semi-annual & annual sales, they also carry many modern styles and colors that are style staples that can be carried over into other seasons!

*Tip
Sign up with either their mailing list or email list and they will let you know when they are having these great sales.Prices start at 12.99 to 4.99..can't beat that!

Who is NaturallyChaotic?

Intially, I was going to make this a solo blog about fashion looks and how to achieve them for less. Butttt I decided to incoporate my lovely sister because she is equally talented and together we have lotsss to talk about. This blog will now be about our true love for real life, love, pain, fashion, makeup, hair & everything in between! There is no limit. I feel that we are young, honest and true to ourselves. We deal with the everyday struggles most women our age deal with. We come from a multicultural background, small city, single mother, money issues, weight difficulties, career stuggles almost anything you can think of but the best thing about us is that together we talk about everything and actually learn from it. Communication is the best stress relief I know that works and if we can get what we want off our chest and help you do the same then we have accomplished our goal! I am soo looking forward to this blog and our colaboration together.
